My name is Jamie Droo. I’m a British singer, voice artist, and storyteller. Music has always been at the heart of what I do -- not just performing.
Over the years, I've used my voice in many forms: live performance, narration and creative proyects that bring emotion and energy to an audience.
This latest chapter es something deeply personal. The songs you hear on this site are based on original lyrics written by my late father, Graham Drew, in the late 1960s and early 70s.
I've taken his words and reimagined them --giving them a fresh, uplifting sound while keeping the soul of what he created. This Project is more than music. It`s a tribute.

Me llamo Jamie Droo. Soy cantante, locutor y narrador británico. La música siempre ha sido el núcleo de lo que hago, y no solo en el ámbito de la interpretación.
A lo largo de los años, he utilizado mi voz de muchas formas: actuaciones en directo, narraciones y proyectos creativos que transmiten emoción y energía al público.
Este último capítulo es algo profundamente personal. Las canciones que escuchas en esta página web se basan en letras originales escritas por mi difunto padre, Graham Drew, a finales de los años sesenta y principios de los setenta.
He tomado sus palabras y las he reinterpretado, dotándolas de un sonido fresco y estimulante, al tiempo que conservo el espíritu de lo que él creó. Este proyecto es más que música. Es un homenaje.

MRS is my first EP of original songs - A project deeply personal to me.
The songs were originally written by my father, Graham Drew, back in the late 1960s. Before he passed away, he asked me to do something with his music.
In February 2026, I finally brought that promise to life. These six songs combine Dads songwriting with my own musical influence and style, recorded professionally to deliver the same rich, polished sound you'd expect from mainstream artists.
Las canciones las compuso originalmente mi padre, Graham Drew, a finales de la década de 1960. Antes de fallecer, me pidió que hiciera algo con su música.
En febrero de 2026, por fin cumplí esa promesa. Estas seis canciones combinan las composiciones de mi padre con mis propias influencias y mi estilo musical, y se han grabado de forma profesional para ofrecer el mismo sonido rico y pulido que cabría esperar de los artistas más conocidos.

Tuesday (Iconic Voices) - Sunday (Swing, Soul & Regga)
Jamie has been singing for many years and has built up a huge repertoire.
He showcases his huge catalogue of songs at The Taurus Steakhouse & Italian Cuising Restaurant in Los Cristianos twice a week on Tuesday's and Sunday's.
The early pary of this 2 hour set consists on easy listening songs which are a perfect backdrop for a lovely eating experience. Jamie covers all genres during his set at Taurus.
He favours swing during the early part but he'll generally work through his songlists driven by the audiences preference, The last 45 mins is generally non stop uptempo hits from the Soul, Motown & Reggae genres.
However, you should expect the unexpected with Jamie. He is well known for vocal Impersonations of very famous voices.
Jamie lleva muchos años cantando y ha acumulado un amplio repertorio.
Ofrece su amplio repertorio de canciones en el restaurante «The Taurus Steakhouse & Italian Cuisine», en Los Cristianos, dos veces por semana: los martes y los domingos.
La primera parte de esta actuación de dos horas consiste en canciones de música ligera, que constituyen el telón de fondo perfecto para una agradable experiencia gastronómica. Jamie abarca todos los géneros durante su actuación en el Taurus.
Aunque en la primera parte se decanta por el swing, suele adaptar su repertorio a las preferencias del público. Los últimos 45 minutos suelen ser un popurrí ininterrumpido de éxitos animados de los géneros soul, Motown y reggae.
Sin embargo, con Jamie hay que esperar lo inesperado. Es muy conocido por sus imitaciones vocales de voces muy famosas.
Restaurante Taurus Argentine Steakhouse & Italian Cuisine is an outstanding place to eat. The food is amazing. One of the of the little touches that make it such an authentic steakhouse is the large glass grill kitchen where you can see you meat being cooked by the dedicated expert grill chef. There is also a glass fridge with all the meat on display where you can select the exact cut you'd like. So whether your choice is sirloin, rump, rib eye, tomohawk or fillet, you can expect nothing less than a perfectly cooked steak to your exact requirements.
El restaurante Taurus Argentine Steakhouse & Italian Cuisine es un lugar excepcional para comer. La comida es increíble. Uno de los pequeños detalles que lo convierten en un auténtico asador es la gran cocina con parrilla acristalada, desde donde se puede ver cómo un experto y dedicado chef a la parrilla prepara la carne. También hay una nevera acristalada con toda la carne a la vista, donde puedes elegir el corte exacto que desees. Así que, tanto si eliges solomillo, cadera, entrecot, tomahawk o filete, puedes esperar nada menos que un filete cocinado a la perfección según tus preferencias exactas.

This show was born in The Rumpot. One night while Jamie was doing his Solid Gold Soul Show quite a lot of the audience were asking for indie music.
So Jamie being the versatile artist he is, changed musical direction into what the audience wanted. Belting out tunes from The Kings Of Leon, Killers, Zutons, Oasis plus other classic hoo-kline songs that everybody knows and can sing along to,
The show developed quickly into a format and The Rumpot would come alive with audiences loving this high energy party show.
Every Wednesday night between 10pm & 11pm this venue is alive with everyone singing to the likes of Mr Brightside, I Predict A Riot, Sex On Fire, Dakota, Don't Look Back In Anger plus many more of the biggest Indie crowd pleasers.
Este espectáculo nació en The Rumpot. Una noche, mientras Jamie presentaba su «Solid Gold Soul Show», gran parte del público pedía música indie.
Así que Jamie, como artista versátil que es, cambió el rumbo musical para adaptarse a lo que el público quería. Interpretó a todo volumen temas de Kings of Leon, The Killers, The Zutons, Oasis, además de otros clásicos con estribillos pegadizos que todo el mundo conoce y puede cantar a coro.
El espectáculo se convirtió rápidamente en un formato consolidado y The Rumpot cobraba vida gracias a un público que adoraba este espectáculo festivo y lleno de energía.
Todos los miércoles por la noche, entre las 22:00 y las 23:00, este local se llena de vida con todo el mundo cantando temas como «Mr Brightside», «I Predict A Riot», «Sex On Fire», «Dakota», «Don't Look Back In Anger» y muchos otros de los grandes éxitos indie que más gustan al público.
The Rumpot opens at 9am every day. Its a traditional British style pub with lots of space outside to sit in the morning sun and enjoy one of the best full English, Irish, Scottish breakfasts.
As the day continues the kitchen remains open with its extensive menu of pub grub. Ideal for families on the way to the beach. You can ask the staff to prepare sandwiches and baguettes to take away for your day trips. The kitchen remains open until 9pm.
Then the evening entertainment program begins with the resident compere offering friendly, welcoming banter, quizzes and the ever popular karaoke. At 10p and 11pm every night the scheduled shows begin. there are 2 acts every night that are selected from the very best the island has to offer.
El Rumpot abre todos los días a las 9 de la mañana. Es un pub tradicional al estilo británico con mucho espacio al aire libre para sentarse al sol de la mañana y disfrutar de uno de los mejores desayunos ingleses, irlandeses o escoceses completos.
A medida que avanza el día, la cocina permanece abierta con su amplia carta de comida típica de pub. Ideal para familias que se dirigen a la playa. Puedes pedir al personal que te prepare sándwiches y baguettes para llevar en tus excursiones de un día. La cocina permanece abierta hasta las 21:00 h.
A continuación, comienza el programa de entretenimiento nocturno con el presentador residente, que ofrece bromas amables y acogedoras, concursos y el siempre popular karaoke. Jamie Droo has been a life long reggae and ska fanboy. Going back to his school days he would stay up late listening to late night radio shows specialising in reggae music.
Some of his favourite artistes wer pretty unknown outside of reggae circles.
An artiste called Smiley Culture was one of his favourites. Smiley's 2 biggest hits included; Cockney Translation & Police Office No Give Me Producer. With these songs he learned to understand Jamaica Patois. However, during this show Jamie sticks to the more well know reggae masters.
Expect lots of Bob Marley, Aswad, Jimmy Cliff, Sugar Minot & Tippa Irie. Then you'll also get the very best of British Ska music thrown into the mix too. A feel good show all round.
Jamie Droo ha sido un fan incondicional del reggae y el ska toda su vida. Ya en su época escolar, se quedaba despierto hasta tarde escuchando programas de radio nocturnos especializados en música reggae.
Algunos de sus artistas favoritos eran bastante desconocidos fuera de los círculos del reggae.
Un artista llamado Smiley Culture era uno de sus favoritos. Los dos mayores éxitos de Smiley eran: «Cockney Translation» y «Police Office No Give Me Producer». Con estas canciones aprendió a entender el patois jamaicano. Sin embargo, en este programa, Jamie se ciñe a los grandes del reggae más conocidos.
Podrás disfrutar de mucho Bob Marley, Aswad, Jimmy Cliff, Sugar Minot y Tippa Irie. Además, también encontrarás lo mejor de la música ska británica mezclado con el resto. Un programa para sentirte bien en todo momento.
The Green Corner has recently been taken over by Gourmet Land S.L one of the largest hospitality groups in the Canary Islands with many succesful and popular bars and restaurants across all the islands.
The Green Corner offer a full menu throughout the day and in to the evening with the kitchen open until 10pm. Entertainment begins at 8.30pm with the resident entertainer Karen Kennedy. Karen is also the entertainmnet manager for all of Gourmet Lands venue's that offer live entertainment.
Karen hosts the evening entertainment which consists of 2 shows each night which are both wrapped up with the very talented Karen. Expect fun and games including music quizzes and some sticky 13, one of the most popular audience participation games in Tenerife.
The Green Corner ha pasado recientemente a manos de Gourmet Land S.L., uno de los mayores grupos hosteleros de las Islas Canarias, con numerosos bares y restaurantes de gran éxito y popularidad repartidos por todas las islas.
The Green Corner ofrece un menú completo durante todo el día y hasta bien entrada la noche, con la cocina abierta hasta las 22:00 h. El programa de entretenimiento comienza a las 20:30 h con la animadora residente Karen Kennedy. Karen es también la directora de entretenimiento de todos los locales de Gourmet Land que ofrecen espectáculos en directo.
Karen presenta el programa de entretenimiento nocturno, que consta de dos espectáculos cada noche, ambos con la participación de la talentosa Karen. Te esperan diversión y juegos, como concursos musicales y el «Sticky 13», uno de los juegos con participación del público más populares de Tenerife.
